Research Interests

My current research interests cover a wide variety of topics in Social Cognition and Person Memory. Among them are Impression Formation namely, cognitive representation and retrieval of information about individuals and groups, retrieval of social information under interference and inhibition contexts and socially distributed cognition specifically in what concerns collaborative encoding and retrieval of social information Currently I am also very interested in the study of stereotypes and automatic behavior.
I also work in other scientific domains such as Social and Community Psychology namely, in research/intervention projects with at-risk children and families with a history of ill treatment, neglect, abuse and/or institutionalization. In the field of Social and Organizational Psychology I have been collaborating in research and intervention projects of culture and climate, organizational change, career management, training evaluation and performance appraisal.
